Pay Equity Jobs (payequity.jobs) lists jobs that show their pay and sends free job alerts by email. It is run by Pay Equity LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“we”). This page says what we collect, why, and how to stop it.
What we collect and why
- Job alerts. When you sign up for alerts we store your email address, the search you saved (area, keywords, minimum pay, whether to include remote jobs), the date you confirmed, and when we last emailed you. We use this only to send the alerts you asked for and to stop sending them when you ask.
- Email delivery. Our email provider, Resend, records whether each email was delivered or bounced, so we can stop sending to addresses that don't work. We don't track whether you open an email or click a link.
- Site usage, only with your consent. If you accept analytics in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used and fix what's confusing: which pages are visited and how people found them, and with Clarity, recordings of clicks, scrolling and mouse movement on a page. They receive your browser and device type, an approximate location from your IP address, and the address of each page without its search part, and they set cookies to recognize a returning browser. What you type into forms is hidden from Clarity's recordings, pages with private links (confirming, changing or cancelling alerts) are never tracked, and the few actions we count, such as signing up for alerts, carry nothing you entered. If you don't accept, neither service is loaded.
- Messages to us. If you use the contact form, for example to report a problem with a listing or a rights page, we store your message, email address, the name you give and the page you came from, to answer you and fix the problem. We delete it once it's handled.
- Employer purchases. Featured jobs and sponsorships are paid through Stripe, which collects the payment details. We see the company name, the job or link you provided, and the receipt.
Job listings come from employers' public job boards. We don't collect anything from the employer's application page, which is on their site.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data. We share it only with the services that run the site: Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (site usage, as described above), each only for its job.
If the site is sold, the subscriber list and saved searches transfer to the new owner along with the site, under this same policy. The new owner can change the policy, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Unsubscribe and deletion
Every alert email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe with one click from your email program. Unsubscribing deletes your saved search and email address; nothing is kept except the delivery records our email provider holds for a short time. To delete anything else, or if a link doesn't work, contact us and we'll do it by hand.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how it's used, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Ask through the contact form and we'll answer within 30 days. If you live in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority. We don't sell personal data or share it for advertising.
Cookies and similar storage
The site itself sets no cookies. These are stored in your browser only in the cases shown. Microsoft's Clarity can also set cookies on its own domains (such as clarity.ms), which this site can't read or remove; your browser's settings control those.

Google Analytics keeps usage data for 14 months. Microsoft keeps Clarity recordings for 30 days, and click and heatmap data, and any recording we mark, for 9 months. Google and Microsoft may process this data in the United States and other countries, under their own data protection terms.
Your choices
Analytics is off until you accept it, and you can change your choice at any time with “Privacy settings” at the bottom of every page or the button below. Withdrawing your consent deletes the analytics cookies on this site and stops the scripts from loading. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the site never loads them and doesn't ask. You can also block them with a content blocker, or clear the site's cookies.
